@amysheppardfood

20 Minute Chinese Chicken Curry When I tell you that this tastes like a Chinese Chicken Curry…I mean it tastes EXACTLY like a Chinese Chicken Curry!! I don’t think there’s any recipe that I’ve given to friends more than this one. It’s so quick to cook, you can make it veggie if you like and I swear, if you put this in takeaway containers, no-one would know! 😂 Just serve it with rice and some prawn crackers and that’s this weekends takeaway sorted!  The recipe’s below, let me know if you’re going to try this! A x Feeds 4 Green pepper cut into medium pieces Onion cut into medium pieces 3 chicken breasts cut into medium pieces 30g plain flour 2 tbsp medium curry powder 250ml chicken stock 200ml milk 80g frozen peas Heat a couple of glugs of oil in a large non-stick saucepan or wok. Add the peppers and onions to the pan and fry for 5 minutes on a medium to high heat until starting to soften and colour. Add the chicken to the pan and fry for a further 5 minutes until the chicken is no longer pink. Add the flour and curry powder and fry for 1 minute, stirring regularly. Make up the chicken stock and stir in the milk. Slowly add the liquid to the pan a little at a time. Bringing it to the boil each time before adding more. Stir continuously. When all of the liquid is used up, add the frozen peas. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer on a low to medium heat for around 3 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the peas are soft.
