Crochet Plant Pots Pattern
Spring is in the air and Easter is on its way and so when I saw these cute plant pots I just knew I had to share them with you!
They’re the perfect way to brighten up your window sill, or a great gift for a friend who just can’t seem to keep a plant alive!
I thought this first pot contained a bear… silly me! He’s a gopher of course!
This second one made me smile, with the bunny’s bottom sticking out as he disappears head first into his rabbit hole!
And the third one contains a tulip, which is my favorite Spring flower!
The plant pots in the picture were worked up using DMC Natura Just Cotton and a 2.5mm hook.
The gopher pot measures about 3.5 inches tall, the bunny pot is about 3.75 and the tulip pot is about 4.75 inches.
The pattern comes as a PDF that you can get straight away and has 17 pages of step by step directions.
It’s a beginner level pattern, written in US terminology, and you’ll need to know these stitches to make the pots:
- single crochet
- increase
- decrease
- slip stitch
- chain
- double crochet
- half double crochet
As well as the yarn you’ll need some safety eyes for the gopher and some toy stuffing for all three pots.
